Role Summary
The Entry-Level HVAC Sales and Marketing Officer will support the identification, development, and conversion of sales opportunities for HVAC products, installation services, maintenance contracts, and related solutions.
The role is target-based. The successful candidate should be comfortable prospecting for new customers, attending meetings, conducting follow-ups, maintaining accurate sales records, and working consistently toward monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Identify potential residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
Generate leads through cold calls, referrals, site visits, digital platforms, professional networks, and physical prospecting.
Introduce the company’s HVAC products and services to prospective customers.
Understand basic customer requirements and arrange technical inspections where necessary.
Prepare accurate quotations using approved pricing and proposal templates.
Follow up consistently on quotations, proposals, enquiries, and pending customer decisions.
Schedule meetings between prospective customers and technical or senior sales personnel.
Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, quotations, expected closing dates, and sales outcomes.
Meet assigned weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity and revenue targets.
Support customer relationship management before, during, and after project delivery.
Monitor competitors, market pricing, customer preferences, and emerging opportunities.
Participate in exhibitions, trade events, property development meetings, and other business development activities.
Work with the technical team to ensure customer requirements are properly communicated.
Avoid making technical, pricing, warranty, or delivery commitments without proper approval.
Protect confidential customer, pricing, supplier, and company information.
Submit complete and accurate sales reports within required timelines.
Qualifications and Experience
OND, HND or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Estate Management or a related discipline.
Zero to two years of sales, marketing, customer service, business development or field experience.
Basic understanding of air-conditioning or technical products is an advantage.
Previous experience selling building materials, electrical products, generators, solar systems, real estate, construction services or technical equipment is an advantage.
Ability to use Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets, CRM software, and digital communication platforms.
Willingness to travel within assigned territories and attend customer sites.
