SENIOR BACKEND DEVELOPER (NODE.js)

Responsibilities:

·         Design and implement RESTful APIs endpoints using Express.js framework to facilitate secure and reliable communication between the client and the server.

·         Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems for our chatbot platform using Node.js.

·         Integrate with OpenAI services using their SDKs or APIs.

·         Handle the request and response flow to the AI engine, including passing the user's prompt and receiving the AI-generated text.

·         Design and interact with the database to store conversational history, user profiles, application settings, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) data sources.

·         Implementing real-time communication using WebSockets to provide a fluid, instant, and conversational chat experience.

·         Collaborate with frontend developers, data scientists, and product managers to build a seamless user experience.

·         Develop and optimize APIs for efficient data exchange between the chatbot and other systems.

·         Implement and integrate natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning models into the backend infrastructure.

·         Ensure the security and reliability of the chatbot backend by implementing appropriate measures.

·         Develop and train machine learning models using appropriate algorithms and techniques.

·         Assess the performance of the chatbot using metrics like accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score.

·         Fine-tune models to improve their performance and address limitations.

·         Optimize backend performance and scalability to handle increasing user loads.

·         Stay up to date with the latest advancements in backend technologies and chatbot development.
