Role Overview

The Technical & Industrial Projects Manager will oversee the technical planning, assessment, coordination and development of GGE's industrial and manufacturing initiatives under #ProjectGGE.

The successful candidate will translate industrial concepts into technically viable, properly costed and investment-ready projects while coordinating equipment suppliers, engineering partners and technical stakeholders.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Industrial Project Development: Coordinate the planning and technical development of GGE's manufacturing and industrial projects.
Technical Feasibility: Conduct preliminary technical assessments and feasibility studies for proposed industrial initiatives.
Machinery & Equipment Sourcing: Identify suitable machinery, manufacturers, equipment suppliers and technology providers locally and internationally.
Project Costing: Prepare preliminary CAPEX, OPEX, installation and operational cost estimates.
Supplier Management: Obtain quotations, evaluate suppliers and coordinate technical discussions and negotiations.
Project Planning: Develop implementation schedules, production plans, technical roadmaps and project milestones.
Technology Partnerships: Identify opportunities for technology transfer, engineering collaboration and industrial partnerships.
Investor Support: Prepare technical reports, equipment specifications and project documentation required for investor presentations and capital mobilisation.
Project Monitoring: Track project development activities, identify potential challenges and recommend practical solutions.
Reporting: Submit periodic technical progress reports and recommendations to management.

Expected Deliverables During the First 90 Days

Technical assessments of priority GGE projects.
Machinery and equipment sourcing reports.
Preliminary project feasibility reports.
CAPEX/OPEX estimates.
Supplier and technology partner database.
Industrial project implementation roadmaps.
Monthly performance and progress reports.

Performance Expectation: The manager must demonstrate the ability to move GGE's industrial initiatives from conceptual stages towards technically validated, properly costed and investment-ready projects.

Educational Qualification - B.Sc./B.Eng./HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Production, Chemical Engineering or related disciplines. - Project Management certification is an added advantage. 2. Experience - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in industrial project management, manufacturing, engineering or technical operations. - Experience in machinery sourcing, procurement and industrial project coordination. 3. Key Competencies - Industrial feasibility assessments. - Machinery and equipment sourcing. - CAPEX/OPEX budgeting. - Production planning and technical evaluation. - Supplier and technology partner coordination. - Industrial project implementation and monitoring. 4. Key Responsibilities - Coordinate GGE's industrial and manufacturing projects. - Develop technical and feasibility reports. - Obtain and evaluate machinery quotations. - Prepare project budgets and implementation plans. - Identify industrial technology partners. - Support investor readiness through technical documentation. - Submit regular project progress reports. 5. Personal Requirements - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. - Integrity, accountability and professionalism. - Ability to work independently. 6.
