Role Overview:
Skybil is looking for a Video Editing Instructor to lead our comprehensive Video Editing and Post-Production track. In this long-term revenue-sharing role (contractor/freelancer), you will be responsible for mentoring the next generation of creative professionals, helping them build real-world corporate simulated projects, and mastering the core domains required for modern video editing and post-production workflows.

Teaching Tracks

Any of the following below:

Video Editing & Assembly: Mastering timeline workflows, narrative pacing, multi-cam editing, syncing audio/video, and rough-cut assembly techniques.
Motion Graphics & Visual Effects (VFX): Designing engaging titles, lower thirds, transitions, compositing, and visual effects integration using industry-standard tools.
VFX (Visual Effects): Compositing, green screen keying, tracking, particle effects, and integrating CGI elements into live-action footage.
Video Animation: Creating 2D/3D animated sequences, character rigs, kinetic typography, and storytelling animations.

Requirements

3yrs+ Technical Mastery: Expert in Video Editing, Motion Graphics, Color Grading, or Post-Production frameworks and tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects). Clear Communicator: Ability to simplify and teach complex technical editing concepts. Growth Mindset: Motivated by a 25%–40% revenue-share business model. Pro Setup: High-performance laptop, stable internet, and quality recording gear.
